SOLD - Blob Top Ten Pin Club Shaped Soda Bottle embossed JOHN MORGAN

SOLD - This blob top bottle is shaped like a ten pin or club, greenish tint to the glass, has a flat bottom, and is embossed ‘John Morgan, 343 W. 39^th St., NY’.   The bottle measures 8” high, and about 3” wide at its widest point.  BIM Blown in Mold, 2 side seams, and applied blob top.  From my research, I’ve found that John Morgan came to New York City in the 1850s from Ireland. He started the company under his own name and later changed it to Morgan Brothers Soda Water.  Very nice Burroughs collectible, in wonderful clean condition, with no mentionable damage, and only minor and less than expected scratches to the outer surface.  Most probably pre-1900.
