Featuring an 'M', with an 'F' and an 'E'.   Hmmm could that be M for Mitchell or Morgan or Matthews?

Monocraft was founded in 1927 by brothers Jay and Michael Chernow.   The brothers gained recognition by creating high quality metal initials that stores attached to handbags at the time of purchase.  Research indicates that Monocraft produced jewelry until 1937.  The pin is signed, MONOCRAFT, and includes patent number 1,430,682.  Based on condition, it is truly hard to believe this pin is over 75 years old.  It measures 2" high and 2 1/8" wide.  No metal content marking.  No corrosion to damage to letters.  Clasp closes securely.
